Prolotherapy Treatment

KInjections are made into or around weakened and damaged tissues such as muscles, joints, tendons (in the neck-back and lumbar region).
Since the injected substance is irritant, the body triggers healing in that area.
Thanks to this, it increases the blood supply of that area, the production and release of various substances.
Thus, the weakening or damage in this area is eliminated.
This application is not intended to stop the pain directly, but rather to treat the origin of the pain.
It is an average of 10-15 minutes, although it varies depending on the region to be applied.
Usually, 3-4 sessions are enough.
Rarely, 6-8 sessions are required in some patients.
The application is carried out as 1 session per month.
There are several different types of Prolotherapy based on the substance injected.
1-PRP therapy (Platelet-rich plasma = Platelet-rich plasma): Platelets obtained from the patient’s blood are injected into the desired area.
They trigger recovery by secreting various growth factors in this area.
2- Prolozon therapy: Using ozone solution in this injection, the wound area is stimulated and healing is triggered.
3- Stem cell therapy: Stem cells obtained from the patient’s bone marrow or adipose tissue are injected into the damaged-weakened area to heal-strengthen it.
